Founded on fieldwork, not paperwork.
Agrolabs Controllers Pvt. Ltd. is an independent cargo inspection and survey company headquartered in Navi Mumbai. Clients call us when they need someone impartial to check a lot before it ships, a container before it's sealed, or a godown before stock is released against it.
Our surveyors are trained to work at the point of activity — a jetty, a rake siding, a CFS, a warehouse floor — rather than review paperwork after the fact. What we put our name to is what our people actually saw.

HOW AN ASSIGNMENT RUNS

Every assignment starts with a scope and ends with a report. What happens in between is fieldwork.
Scope it
We agree the commodity, quantity, location, timing and exactly what "inspected" needs to mean for this assignment.
Deploy
A trained surveyor attends the warehouse, CFS, port, rake, truck or other nominated location — in person.
Inspect
Condition, quantity, identification, sampling, loading or movement is checked against the agreed brief.
Document
Observations, quantities, samples, seals, photographs and any exceptions go into the record — the same day.

01 · PRE-SHIPMENT INSPECTION
Check the lot before it moves.
A pre-shipment inspection is often the first independent check a buyer gets on cargo that's still sitting with the seller. We verify the lot and document the agreed checks before it ships.

Where lab analysis is part of the brief, Agrolabs routes sampling through its ties with NABL-accredited laboratories, matched to the commodity and the parameters the assignment calls for.

02 · CONTAINER INSPECTION & STUFFING
Check the container before it's sealed.
For export cargo, our surveyor inspects the container ahead of stuffing and stays through loading, sealing and the paperwork that follows.

Agrolabs supervises loading and discharge at jetties, ports and warehouses, recording observations against the agreed scope of work as the operation runs.

04 · DOMESTIC CARGO SURVEYS
For trucks, rakes and warehouses, wherever they are.
For movements within India, our surveyors attend truck and rake operations, warehouses and other nominated locations to verify, count, sample, weigh and record cargo.

Damage & Dispute Assessment
When cargo is damaged or a dispute arises, we provide an independent read on quantity and quality, and assist with the field work a recovery or claim needs — within the agreed assignment.
05 · ASSET & INVENTORY CONTROL
After the cargo reaches storage.
These services pick up once goods are received into storage. The focus shifts to physical control, stock visibility and disciplined release against instructions.
Collateral Management
Under a collateral-management assignment, Agrolabs supports physical control of storage facilities and inventory after inspecting the goods for quality and quantity. Warehouse receipts and release procedures follow the requirements of the lender or stakeholder involved.
Our part is disciplined monitoring, inventory control and transparent reporting on the goods under the assignment.
Stock Management
Agrolabs also runs stock management across commodities — supervising arrivals, keeping inventory visibility current, and regulating dispatches against the release instructions of financiers or clients.
The goal is accurate stock visibility, controlled movement and prompt word on anything out of line.
SAMPLING, ANALYSIS & REPORTING
An inspection is only as good as its record.
Where an assignment calls for sampling or laboratory testing, we handle the field sampling ourselves and coordinate the analysis that follows.
On a typical Agrolabs certificate, samples are drawn from a defined portion of the bags, mixed into a composite sample, sealed and split for the party, the laboratory and our own record. Testing commonly covers moisture, foreign matter, broken kernels, damaged or discoloured grain, and aflatoxin — set by the commodity and the client's requirement.
Where laboratory work forms part of the brief, Agrolabs routes it through its ties with leading NABL-accredited laboratories, choosing the lab, method and parameters to match the commodity.
